A Reward System You'll Actually Love

The Burrell Golden Rewards Program is designed to reward you for your hard work and dedication! Whether it’s hitting daily restaurant goals, showing up on time, or going above and beyond, you can earn points for various tasks and achievements — and turn those points into awesome rewards!

Program Details

How to access your points:

Access your points through the QSRSoft App! Visit home.myqsrsoft.com/login to sign up or login. To log in, you will use your Workforce Management email and your password, formatted as Lastname@MMDD (birthday). For example: Smith@0125. You can find your points under the rewards tab.

Confirm that the first letter of your last name is capitalized (most common error). If that does not work, contact your general leader for assistance.

Who can participate in the Golden Rewards Program?

The program is available to Assistant General Leaders, Shift Managers, Floor Supervisors, Managers-in-Training (MITs), and all crew members.

What is the value of a point?

The approximate value of a point is $0.01. For example, 1,000 points is equivalent to $10.00!

Will new gift items be added to the program?

Yes, the program is flexible, and new gift items or benefits will be added each quarter to QSRsoft – so make sure you watch for exciting new items regularly! If you have been working towards a specific gift that gets changed out, we will still honor it!

Do I lose any current Burrell Family McDonald’s benefits with the new Golden Rewards Program?

The Golden Rewards Program has restructured our benefits to provide you with greater flexibility, allowing you to choose and redeem rewards that best suit your preferences. Incentive amounts have remained the same or increased (!), offering even more generous options. Plus, all points are now non-taxable, unlike previous cash deposits to your paycheck, giving you even more value to redeem treats or giftcards just for you!

How often do Golden Rewards raffles happen?

Golden Rewards raffles happen regularly throughout the year, giving you chances to win big prizes like 30,000 points, PTO, and more! Keep an eye out for announcements so you don’t miss your shot to enter and win!

Using and Redeeming Points

How do I receive my chosen reward?
  • Please place your redemptions in your QSRsoft app before Tuesdays. 
  • Lapel pins and meal cards are available in the restaurant immediately upon point redemption.
  • Larger items are ordered weekly and sent to your restaurant.
  • Some gift cards are sent directly to your email address, so ensure your email is up to date with your General Leader.
If I don’t have a smartphone, how can I check my reward points and redeem rewards?

Training iPads are available in the restaurant for you to log in and manage your rewards. Your General Leader can also assist in viewing and redeeming your points.

At termination, can I use my points?

No, the Golden Rewards Program ends on your termination date, and any unused points are forfeited. You may not transfer your points to another employee prior to your termination date.  

Can I gift my points to another person? Can I transfer my points with someone else to go in on a reward together?

Points are non-transferrable after 5/1/2025.

Tracking and Earning Points

How is perfect attendance tracked?

Perfect attendance is tracked automatically through our computerized scheduling system. If you swap a shift, notify your GL to ensure the schedule is updated and points are accurately awarded.

Additional Questions

How is the Voice Score incentive tracked and rewarded?

Voice Scores are tracked automatically at the end of each month. Crew members in restaurants that achieve a 75% or higher score will be awarded points as outlined in the program.

Can I combine my points with other promotions or discounts?

No, Golden Rewards points cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

How often are points updated in my account?

Points are updated often as soon as they are earned, unless they need to be manually added by your GL which then will be updated on a weekly basis. Any discrepancies should be reported to your General Leader immediately.

Do Golden Rewards points expire?

Your points stay active as long as you remain employed or while the program is in effect.

Are there limits to how many points I can earn in a year?

There is no maximum limit to the points you can earn, so your rewards grow as you participate in more opportunities!

Can I redeem rewards for someone else?

No, rewards redeemed through the Golden Rewards Program are intended for the employee who earned the points.

What happens if I transfer to a different location?

Your points and rewards remain linked to your account and will transfer with you to your new location.

Are Golden Rewards points refundable if I change my mind after redeeming?

Once points are redeemed for a reward, the transaction is final, and points cannot be refunded.

Can I earn extra points through career advancement and training?

Yes! You can earn additional Golden Rewards points by completing leadership classes and curriculum training designed to help you grow in your career. Check the quarterly Golden Rewards Flyer under “Ways to Earn Points” for a list of eligible classes and point their value.

What’s Changing to Our Current Burrell Family McDonald’s Benefits?

These updates ensure a fair, engaging, and rewarding experience for all employees, while providing greater flexibility in how you are recognized and celebrated.

Birthday Celebration

We will no longer mail pins with birthday cards. Instead, we’ll deposit 1,000 points into your rewards account (that’s equivalent to $10)! This allows you to decide whether to redeem a pin or select another reward that feels like the perfect birthday gift for you!

Perfect Attendance

For consistently showing up to work on time for six straight days, you can now earn 1,000 points (that’s a non-taxable $10)! With weekly perfect attendance recognition, you’ll have the flexibility to redeem a gift card or choose from any of our reward items. These weekly 1,000 points will replace our monthly $50 gift card. Our goal is that more individuals can be rewarded with their on-time Perfect Attendance! 

Referral Points

After your referral completes orientation, you will receive 2,500 points (replacing the previous $25 gift card). The $100 bonus after 90 days of employment will still be processed through the office and deposited into your bank account.

Weekly Voice Comments Recognition

Employees mentioned in Voice Comments will now earn points as follows:

  • 200 points for one mentions (previously taxable $2)
  • 500 points for three mentions (previously taxable $5)
  • 1,000 points for five mentions (previously taxable $10)
Employee of the Month, Employee of the Year, and Shift Manager of the Year

Rather than depositing a taxable monetary amount into your bank account, we’ll now award equivalent non-taxable points, giving you the freedom to choose rewards that matter most to you. 

  • 5,000 points for Employee of the Month (previously taxable $50)
  • 10,000 points for Employee of the Year (previously taxable $100)
  • 15,000 points for the Shift Manager of the Quarter (previously taxable $150)
  • 20,000 points for the Employee of the Patch (previously taxable $200)
